Our work

Projects

What the Foundation is running today, what it has already done, and what is coming next, with no mixing of the three.

Current projects

Running today

Two long-term projects carry most of the Foundation's day-to-day work: one on education, one on culture.

Education

Continuing Education & Professional Development

The Foundation backs continuing education as a real path for people already working, or coming back to study, to update what they know, gain new skills and not fall behind when the market moves.

This project brings together programmes aimed at professional development: accessible, practical, and designed for students and professionals who need clear opportunities rather than confusing paperwork. The focus is simple: more people with better tools for their work and their careers.

Past projects

Already delivered

Work the Foundation has completed or sustained over time, with a public record behind it.

Chromatic Sounds: Latin American Art Exhibition

In 2016 the Humboldt Group Foundation presented Chromatic Sounds, an exhibition devoted to contemporary expression and Latin American talent in South Florida. More than a one-off show, it was a bridge between art, education and community: a moment when the Foundation put the work of regional artists on stage and left a public record of that encounter. Among the trajectories documented are Morela Avilán and Karina Matheus.

EduAction: Digital Education and Innovation Initiative

EduAction started from a practical question: how do educational innovation and digital learning actually help teachers and professionals who need new technological and informational skills? The initiative has taken shape as conferences, research, workshops and resources. There are also academic publications associated with the Humboldt Group Foundation on communicative and digital competencies. That is evidence the work did not stop at the slogan, but produced content that can be cited and used.

Upcoming initiatives

In preparation

These are planned initiatives, not completed work. They are listed here so partners and applicants can see where the Foundation is heading. Dates stay open until each one is confirmed.

Upcoming

Humboldt Community Scholarship Program

Scholarships and assistance for students in financial need, so that cost is not the only filter between someone and their education.

Upcoming

Digital Skills for Adults

Free workshops on computing, artificial intelligence, résumé preparation and job search. Built for adults who need to catch up without a long or expensive programme.

Upcoming

Art for Education

Exhibitions whose proceeds support scholarships or educational programmes: art as a concrete engine of opportunity, not only as an event.

Upcoming

Emerging Latin American Artists Program

Open call, mentorship and exhibition for new artists: a clearer path from emerging talent to a first public showcase.

Upcoming

Educator Innovation Series

Seminars for teachers on technology, online education and new methodologies. Space for those who teach to keep learning too.
